We are a learning and leadership development center where our focus is on empowering families, developing young leaders with Education For Life, and being a growth hub for our community.
Whether you are coming from public, private, or homeschooling and still desire something more for your family, we provide a solution with what we like to call - Education For Life!
We focus on real Life Skills, Project Based Learning, socratic learning and conversations for Critical Thinking, and engaging parents in the entire process.

We are creating the growth environment on campus for your young people and providing parents access to Apogee Man and Apogee Woman, a 12-month intensive personal development program & community, that is our complimentary offering to you with your child's membership at Apogee HoCo.
We are building an All-Star community of founding families.
Whether your young people is at home, on campus, or around the other families in our Apogee community, they will be observing high character, growth oriented, solution makers to emulate in their own life.

Our two boys are the driving force behind our WHY. They have an insatiable curiosity, vivid imaginations, along with an abundance of energy to learn through play and exploration.
Education must not only prepare our children for adulthood, but must inspire a lifelong pursuit of learning and personal development.
We want them in an environment that promotes their love of learning. We want them to be able to enjoy their childhood freely and not be bound to a desk. We want them to learn how to be kind and respectful, yet strong-willed and driven. We want them to learn how to have discussions that are not easy, but necessary.
We want them to be critical thinkers, knowing how to think, not merely what to think. We want them to learn how to become the best version of themselves and to love that process. We want them to thrive in a place where they're challenged both mentally and physically.
After years of searching for the best educational and development option for our children, we became an affiliate of Apogee Strong to provide Maryland parents the ability join an All-Star team of trusted families.
We are building a community that supports freedom, sovereignty and wants their children’s education to prepare them for life in an ever changing world through project based learning & free from political agendas.

We want our children to be self-driven, self-motivated, free thinkers, who are capable of forging their path in life.
We moved from Gaithersburg to Howard County in 2021 because of the high ranking public schools. Our oldest was enrolled in a Montessori School to allow his curiosity to guide him, learn by doing and feel empowered as he saw himself more capable each day. At the time, parents weren't allowed in the building, communication became sparse, and the forced masking of children became the last straw before we brought him home.
We began asking more and more questions about what we wanted for our children's development and education in the aftermath of 2020. We looked into alternative schools, but unfortunately, we observed that many private institutions were also utilizing the same Prussian System methodology in their schooling structure and techniques.
We researched project based learning to uncover schools across the country and around the world that have been successfully utilizing this model of education to empower children, maintain their love for learning and build on their unique strengths.
Project Based Learning maps to the requirements of life far more closely than rote memorization and testing ever could, so why had we never heard about this before? Why was this not even a discussion point of school reform or simply recommended to empower parents?
We saw Apogee Strong not only asking these same challenging questions, but providing the education solution that we knew would be the best option for our children and their holistic development in this rapidly changing world.
We went ALL-IN because we knew launching Apogee HoCo would not only support our children, but would benefit many other Maryland parents looking for an education solution for their children within a trusted community of strong character families.
